knop_database -> getrecord does not clear stale lockvalue

stevepiercy
This issue just got weird.
https://github.com/knop-project/knop/issues/53

First, would someone please try to replicate the error?

Second, has anyone ever seen something where session_start would
cause a custom type to be converted to a string type?

Lasso 8.6.0.1 on Mac OS X 10.5.8.

I've definitely had $s_user turning into a string, I never tracked down the cause though. That was Lasso 8.5.6 on 10.5.8.

Phew.  OK, so I'm not going crazy, unless I'm on my way to joining you.  ;)

Do you recall any details?

The problem went away a while ago, but I was able to reproduce your case with the demo site on 8.6:

No tag, type or constant was defined under the name string->clearlocks

and of course on the next page:

No tag, type or constant was defined under the name string->auth

the s_user object has become a string - it must be the same issue I experienced - I don't remember the exact context, put I'm pretty certain it was related to record locking.
