Very basic data check

Marc Pinnell-3
Hey all,

I have a page with some VERY basic error checking (see code snip
below), that has stopped working. I know it worked under Lasso 6. I
upgraded to Lasso 8 some time ago, so I suspect that is when it
stopped working, but I never verified the code at that time (must
have missed that page!). Anyway, why doesn't this code work with
Lasso 8? All I get when I leave a field blank is the generic Lasso
error page - not the one specified. Classic Lasso is disabled, but
the manual says that this should still work.

<form action="Account_Add_Pro.lasso" method="post" name="Login"
id="Login">
     <input type="hidden" name="-ResponseReqFieldMissingError"
value="Account_Error.lasso">
              <td class="Chart_ColumnHeads" bgcolor="#cccccc"
width="40%" height="25">Your Name:</td>
              <td class="Chart_Listings" width="60%"
height="25"><input type="hidden" name="-Required" value=""><input
type="text" name="Name" size="45" border="0"></td>

Any ideas are appreciated, thanx
Marc

What does the generic Lasso error page say?

Are the files referenced in the form on the server?

What happens if you turn on Classic Syntax?

I recommend switching this to an inline and putting all your logic into a separate file.

The error page was a #-800, required field missing error. The files
are there (I double checked). I haven't tried turning classic back
on, but I guess that would be next.

Thanx
Marc
