[VOT] Something to brighten your day

Ian Blackford
Hi,

I've been asked by a client to find a royalty free version of Wipeout by the
Surfaries... and I came across this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkYSDYDc8mE

While taking nothing away from the guitar guys, the star of the show is the
drummer.  Only 4 drums and 2 cymbals!

Best Regards

ICB

Ian,

While there will not be a royalty free version of Wipeout in their
library (I sincerely doubt that a legal royalty-free version of
Wipeout exists), I use Freeplay Music often for projects.
Their terms are straightforward and they have a broad range of sounds.

Lasso Summit Rumors and Such

Jim Van Heule-2
This years Lasso Summit looks to be even better than last year. And
attendees gave last year's Summit an overall 4.75 out of 5 star rating.

The papers we received from the speakers are incredible and full of a
wealth of information.

Of the four Lasso Summit's I've been involved with, I'm pretty sure
this will be the one I look back on more than any of the others. With
all the rumors in circulation, the incredible papers, the current
list of attendees and the bitterly cold winter being experienced in
may part of the world, this Summit can't come soon enough.

Let me put one rumor to rest right now. Some rumors that involve me
are true. Those of you that I have discussed this with now know that
it's fact and no longer an idle thought. For the rest of you, it will
just have to wait for the announcement during the opening remarks on
Friday, March 2.

If you haven't registered as of yet, there are still spots available.

My sources say that Jim has been taking pole dancing lessons, and will launch the new video production company "Geeks Gone Wild".  Kerry Adams will be the embee, Master of Beeramonies, Brett Circe will lead the Coding by Blackberry competition, Kyle Jessup will be the official starter for the Segway Ben Hur Chariot Races, and Fletcher Sandbeck will lead the Light Saber Duels.

I learned a long, long time ago that whenever I absolutely deny any
rumor, it becomes fact just minutes afterwards.

So, if I deny "ever" pole dancing, I'm almost destined to end up in a
strip joint tonight, getting wildly drunk and doing the wild pole
dance, probably in front of my wife and clients.

And herpes. LOL. Gads, I don't even want to go there and jinx myself.
