Subscription reverts to developer?

James Sheffer
I thought CLD licenses continued to work but the admin is locked out if you stopped paying the CLd...
We had a CLD for a year (Lasso 8.6) or so and stopped and now the server only runs in developer mode after a restart.

Lassosoft customer login says the license is expired

Any ideas?

I believe that is the correct behavior. If you are paying monthly (or annual), once you stop paying it reverts to developer mode and is capped at 5 IPs.

Really? Am not certain about that.

I cancelled a credit card and belated updated the details with LassoSoft.
Didn't see any of my CLD licenses go down. My understanding was that you
get locked out Lasso Admin.

Official word / clarification would be good here.

I've had a credit card cancellation, too.  I'm pretty sure you
will only be locked out of Admin.  I don't know whether that can
go on forever or has a time limit.

So maybe the CLD and other subscription-based licenses are
granted an exception to remain functional except for access to
the Admin?

My understanding is that it would continue to work until you restarted the instance. The idea being that you had some time to get it renewed, but that as soon as the instance restarted with an invalid license it would revert to developer mode.
