Strange CLI error after update to Sierra

Jolle Carlestam-2
After updating to MacOS Sierra this happens in Terminal.

Command:
lasso9 -s ”lasso_uniqueid"

Result:
[warn] kq_init: detected broken kqueue; not using.: Undefined error: 0
C9B26AB9-AAAE-4E5A-AA39-49A6778A50D2

Should I be worried?
(I am in any case)

Re: Strange CLI error after update to Sierra

Ke Carlton-3
This https://github.com/Homebrew/homebrew-core/issues/2869 suggests this:

    brew install libevent

Will fix it.

Seems to be LLVM related, so could be fairly serious or may be nothing —
one for Kyle most likely...

Re: Strange CLI error after update to Sierra

Mark J. Reed
That looks like you never finished updating... it's looking for the old
ruby.

Try this first:

ruby /usr/local/bin/brew update

Re: Strange CLI error after update to Sierra

Eric Knibbe-2
Looks like it's a fix for a bug back in 10.4(!) that's no longer necessary. I'll poke at libevent so it doesn't show, as they did for Chromium.

After poking is done, what’s the plan?
A new point release of Lasso 9? Instructions for doing our own poking?
