Executing .htm files with Lasso 8.6.3

Michael Benedict
Hello,

I found an earlier thread on this subject but my system did not quite match.

I would like to execute .htm extensions with lasso.

What's the best way of doing this?
I tweaked the Lasso Admin "Lasso Page settings", adding the .htm extension. And I added .htm to the "File Tag Settings".

Do I tweak IIS? or is there a better way of doing this without sending everything .htm to lasso?

Win Server 2008 R2
IIS 7
Lasso 8.6.3

Thanks in advance.

Michael

Hi Michael,

You will need to tweak IIS, but this will cause all htm files to be parsed
by Lasso.  To the best of my knowledge, there are no options to only process
som files with a specific file extension.

RE: Executing .htm files with Lasso 8.6.3

Rick,

Would you know how to tweak IIS 7.

I used this before in IIS 6. But 7 is different.

Can't put my finger on the correct procedure.

Thanks for the help.

Cheers,
Michael

RE: Executing .htm files with Lasso 8.6.3

Rick Draper-2
Hi Michael,

I believe it will be in handler mappings and you would set *.htm to be
associated with the Lasso handler - maybe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\Lasso8ConnectorforIIS.dll ??

I don't have any 8.6 installations but hopefully that should point you in
the right direction.

RE: Executing .htm files with Lasso 8.6.3

Rick,

Yes that was it. I am just testing my new server and I will let you know if
I run into any snags. But your suggestion seems to have been a good one.

Cheers,
Michael
