That’s what I am seeing. You get your choice of 16 or 16 on the 15"… :( Taking cues from Henry Ford I guess (“ Any customer can have a car painted any color that he wants so long as it is black").

It's Apple's commitment to battery-saving LPDDR RAM that keeps it a) soldered to the motherboard (the standard doesn't allow for sockets) and b) stuck at 16GB, which is what LPDDR3 maxes out at. 32GB won't be an option until Cannon Lake is ready, which will support LPDDR4. Until then, their only option would be to use non-LP DDR4, at the expense of battery life — a comprimise they're unlikely to make.
