Lost control of virtual hosts with lasso 9.1.5

beaniite
What is the solution to having some virtual hosts parsed by lasso and not others with lasso 9.1.5, MacOS 10.6.8, Apache

My virtual hosts worked fine with 9.1 but you have changed the whole config file in 9.1.5 which I just upgraded to.

Previously I commented out
        AddType application/x-httpd-lasso9 .lasso .lasso9 .html .htm
        Action application/x-httpd-lasso9 /lasso9direct
        ScriptAlias /lasso9 /lasso9
        ScriptAlias /lasso9direct /lasso9direct

in the 9.1 config file

and added
        AddType application/x-httpd-lasso9 .lasso .lasso9 .html .htm
        Action application/x-httpd-lasso9 /lasso9direct
        ScriptAlias /lasso9 /lasso9
        ScriptAlias /lasso9direct /lasso9direct

in those hosts that I wanted to be parsed by lasso

What is the new solution for 9.1.5

Gordon

You could still set it up in the same way you did 9.1, but if you want to use instance manager and the new mod_lasso9 then you should comment out these lines in the config file and put them in the virtual host you want to have lasso9:

# all LassoApps routed through here
<Location /lasso9>
        SetHandler lasso9-handler
        Order allow,deny
        Allow from all
</Location>

# instance manager administrative facilities can be disabled by commenting this out
<Location /lasso9/instancemanager>
        SetHandler lasso9-instancemanager
        Order allow,deny
        Allow from all
</Location>

AddHandler lasso9-handler .lasso

Thanks Brad,

I actually did that but it didn't work restarting Apache.

It only worked after restarting the computer.

I guess there is more to it than just Apache.

I was getting a lot of calls from teachers because they use www.mineralogy4kids.org in their classrooms.

Lot of pressure there.
