Lasso cannot see tables in MySQL DB

James Sheffer
Hello all-

I’m still having a strange problem…

- I created a new MySQL database using the same user/pass as a current DB.  I can sign in with SequelPro just fine and see the new tables but not with Lasso Admin (I can see the DB).
- I added a new table to a current DB (same user/pass) and cannot see it either in Lasso Admin but can with SequelPro.

I’m using the same MySQL Host as the other DB that I can see (except for the new table).  I’ve also tried setting up a new HOST but same results.  There are only 3  MySQL databases for this site and a handful of FileMaker DB’s...

Any ideas?

Lasso 8.5
Mac OSX

What are your Lasso Security settings?  Can “anyone” see all tables and all databases?

Re: Lasso cannot see tables in MySQL DB

James Sheffer
Tami-

I’m not sure about “anyone seeing all tables and databases” but I sure can see all of them in Lasso Admin - This is Lasso 8.5

I do know that I have the new DB set up on the same host as the other DB and I can see all the tables there and I can see this DB.

I posted earlier about problems with the SQLLite DB’s having issues and wonder if that could be the case but didn’t hear back about being able to delete them and if Lasso would re-create them.  I would think being able to see tables from the external MySQL Server wouldn’t be affected by that but am not sure, especially now since I tried adding a new table to an existing DB and can’t see it either with Lasso…

I was in the process of moving the web server to a new server and may just have to hurry that process up as that would at least fix the SQLLite problem (I would assume - all I’m doing is exporting the Lasso settings to the new server and installing Lasso fresh).

Are you using the same user/pass in SequelPro as you use with Lasso?
