Lasso 9 & Mysql trigger

Rob Brooks
It appears that if I have a trigger set on a MySQL table (any trigger ...
what it does doesn't seem to matter) the keyfield_value() function in
Lasso9 fails to return a value on insertion of a new row on that table.

Anybody seen this or know of a solution/workaround?

Lasso9
MySQL 5.5
Centos 6.8

Thanks,
Rob

If I recall correctly with MySQL keyfield_value basically returns the value
of:

SELECT LAST_INSERT_ID()

So check if your trigger is affecting that in any way.

Re: Lasso 9 & Mysql trigger

Justin Dennis-3
We use a lot of triggers and have never run into this issue with
keyfield_value. None of our triggers actually affect the table into which
the insert occurs. They only affect other related tables. Not sure it's
even possible to have a trigger affect its own table as that seems like
infinite loop material.
