Image tag sometimes saving files with scrambled filenames (Lasso 8 on CentOS)

Johan Solve
It seems that saving images with the image tags can sometimes name the
saved file rather strangely with Lasso 8 on CentOS. Randomly replaced
character here and there, but just sometimes.

I solved it by saving the image using file tags instead.

So instead of this code
#image -> Save('/media/' + #filename, -quality=75);

Use this
#image -> convert('JPG', -quality=75);
file_write('/media/' + #filename, #image -> data, -fileoverwrite);

Re: Image tag sometimes saving files with scrambled filenames (Lasso 8 on CentOS)

bienvenue
Hi Johan, and list,

An old weird issue of image tag we experienced on Lasso 8.6 / CentOS 6.5 where indeed image->save changes the image file name / path provided.

The way you solved the case is quite interesting, and light, using file_write
We use OS_Process to manage images with GhostScript and GraphicsMagick libs instead.

As you can see an almost 3 years old issue...
Hey Lasso, wake up...
