HTML Email Links

Mark Palmer
Hi List,

Not specifically Lasso but I'm trying to create same page links in an HTML email, but they don't seem to work anywhere I've tested so far (Apple Mail, Google Mail, Communigate web interface). The same code rendered in a web browser is fine.

<ul>
        <li><a href="#demands_needs">Demands and Needs Statement</a></li>
        <li><a href="#endorsement">Endorsement</a></li>
        <li><a href="#schedule">Schedule</a></li>
        <li><a href="#terms_business">Terms of Business</a></li>
</ul>

<div class="document_border" name="demands_needs" id="demands_needs">
...
</div>

etc.

Any ideas?

Regards

Mark Palmer

Did you send the email as an HTML attachment or plain text?

See page 593 of the Language Guide for syntax and examples.  My
preference is the second example of "plaintext/HTML alternative".

What about the old school anchor approach:

<a name="endorsement">Old anchor technique</a>

Either way, it will be client dependent.
