HELP...PDF and 9.2.7

decorior
HI, I posted earlier, but I am wondering if anyone else can see if their PDF printing is working. Is there anything in the lasso start up that uses an external file source for the java VM?

So far we have done the following.

1. Installed previous version of java
2. Pulled a backup when we knew it was working
3. Created a brand new server and just installed lasso.

So on every server we have running lasso 9.2.7 we are seeing this error.

An unhandled failure during a web request
Error Code: -9948
Error Msg: Definition Not Found: java_jvm_getenv()
Error Stack:
28:14 pdf.lasso
1033:14 pdf.lasso
6:19 //var/www/vhosts/rp1.tennissource.net//test.lasso <http://rp1.tennissource.net//test.lasso>

Re: HELP...PDF and 9.2.7

Deco,

If you could send some test code, I think people might be more likely to
test.  I¹ve never tested printing to PDF, so I have no idea how it¹s done.

Yes, of course

<?lassoscript

And if anyone has a server on rackspace that would be especially great!

I¹m sorry for not realizing that was the code in a previous email.  I
thought there would be more to it.

That code does not produce an error on my system.
Mac OS X v10.7.5
Lasso version 9.2.4
I know it¹s not the system you¹d like tested, but it shows that the code
does not error on all systems.

Thanks, Rick;

But this is a small bit of the normal file that runs first.

So it fails on just a file with this line.

yep, works perfectly on OS X as it does on 8.6.3 on Cent OS (on rackspace)

Up until a few days ago it was working on 9.2.7 on CentOS 5.11/6.0/6.5 (on rackspace)

But with all the POODLE patches there has been a lot of things that seem to have been updated. and it has broken

Re: HELP...PDF and 9.2.7

decorior
Quick update!

So we created an Unbuntu server (first time!). We followed all the instructions, and the code WORKS!

So something about CentOS that was patched by RS last week does not work with the PDF tags for Lasso 9.2.7.

What should I pass on to Rackspace/Lasso so they can look into this.

I am guessing the java updates might start to be pushed to other OS’s? (log files, etc.)
