Got an Error going on .. The specified module could not be found.

Michael Benedict
Very deparate.. Thanks.

"The specified module could not be found."

Since I was bitten by the "Java update 31" bug I've had a heck of a time
getting Lasso back online.

Here is what I did and the system I did it to.
MS Server 2003 R2. IIS 6

At this point Lasso was NOT seeing the dB. Filemaker SA v11.

Uninstalled the current Lasso app Win 8.5.6
Uninstalled Java update 31
INSTALLED Java update 32.
Installed Lasso Wind 8.6.0.1
Looked good, worked great.

Then with no warning. I THINK the server was just sitting there.
I started throwing this error "The specified module could not be found."

I checked. The Lasso service was running.
I stopped Lasso and ran it directly from the "Command Prompt"
And got this error."This application has failed to start because MSVCR71.dll
was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem"

Anybody got an ideas??

Michael

I'm not a windows admin, but...  Googling for "MSVCR71.dll" found these two seemingly on-point pages.

        <http://pcsupport.about.com/od/findbyerrormessage/a/msvcr71-dll-not-found-missing-error.htm>
        <http://support.microsoft.com/kb/326922>

Sorry if this doesn't help. Good luck.

I had this error on my Windows laptop.  A reboot made it go away for me.  I haven't seen it since.

Many thanks... at this point I am probably going back to 8.5.6 but who
knows.
But again thanks so much. It certainly seems to be my issue, just no sure
it's worth the hassel.
