Re: El Capitan ??

Thanks Marc.

A thing to be aware of: System Integrity Protection (SIP) is on default in OS X 10.11 which prevents any changes to /usr/*. So to do the steps above you have to disable SIP first according to this guide:

http://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/208478/how-do-i-disable-system-integrity-protection-sip-aka-rootless-on-os-x-10-11

When I did that I was able to reinstall (I did that now) Lasso 8.6.3 and copy Lasso8ConnectorforApache2.4.so to:
/usr/libexec/apache2/Lasso8ConnectorforApache2.4.so

After this I restarted Apache and everything is working just fine! Not sure if I should turn on SIP again after everything is working. This is my local machine so I don't care but wonder if this would be an issue on a production machine.

Thanks again Marc. You saved my day

Re: El Capitan ??

Ok. I was not allowed to copy anything into /usr/libexec/apache2 before I turned off SIP.
Don't know why but if anyone gets this error we know why at least!

I think this discussion will be helpful to many.

Thanks again Marc!
