ERROR: Error from FileMaker server ( 802 )

Carl Ketterling
When I try to connect to FileMaker Server hosted database from a Lasso page,
I get an error:
    error_msg: Error from FileMaker server
    error_code: 802

Details:
I have Mac OS X Server v10.7 serving web pages along with Lasso v9.2.4.
I have Mac OS X Server v10.6.8 hosting File FileMaker Server 11.0v3
I installed a software updates on both machines which required restart.
My FileMaker Server machine wouldn¹t boot, so I took and external drive with
a clone made from Carbon Copy Cloner just before the update, connected it to
a different computer, and booted it.

To keep the database files  as clean as possibleŠ
 - I recovered them from the drive that no longer boots
 - Stopped FileMaker Server (which was trying to recover the files that had
been copied while open)
 - Moved the /Library/FileMaker Server/Data/Databases folder out of the way
 - Copied my files to a new /Library/FileMaker Server/Data/Databases folder
 - Changed permissions of the new files to match the old ones
 - Restarted FileMaker Server and Instant Web Publishing

I did not get any errors in the FileMaker Server logs that imply that any
problems exist on the files (they all opened cleanly).
I can connect from FileMaker client to the hosted files without issues.

I cannot get any access from Lasso to those files because of the above
error.

I¹ve tried to resolve this without asking the list, but I¹m failing
miserably.  If anyone has any suggestions, I¹m eager to hear them.

Carl

See.
http://lasso.2283332.n4.nabble.com/getting-802-error-with-FileMaker-10-custom-web-publishing-tp3157475p3157479.html

Indicates there is a problem with a layout where a field's
external data source is no longer reachable.  Start there.

If that doesn't help, then....

Walk through the FMS 9 Quick Start Guide, but omit the Lasso
8-specific stuff.
http://www.lassosoft.com/_downloads/public/Documentation_and_Guides/Lasso_Professional_8.5/FileMaker%20Server%209%20Advanced%20Quick%20Start.pdf

From the 8.6 Language Guide Appendix A Error Codes.

-802: Action not supported. The specified Lasso action is not
supported by the
specified database or data source.

Let's see the inline code.

Also use action_statement to reveal the action that you are
trying to send to FM.

Thanks for the reply, Steve.

I made a few changes (none that I thought would help), and then I connected the external drive back to the original computer (instead of the backup computer) and rebooted.  Strangely, everything started working.  So, I have no idea why it wasn't working, but I'm OK with it for now.

Then something must be on the external drive that one of the FM
fields, layouts, or external data sources seeks, but cannot find.
