Deleted tables/fields still showing

Marc Pinnell-3
Is this normal behavior? If not, did I miss a step?

I was cleaning up some old solutions and removed some tables and some
fields via CocoaMySQL. Web pages seem to work fine. When I checked in
the Lasso Site Admin (LP8 on OSX.3.9), all the tables and fields were
still there.

TIA,
Marc

Those fields/tables should not be available and should show up that
way after a refresh.

Do this, open your SQL client and flush the tables, permissions and
host. Then go back to the Lasso Admin and those tables and fields
should show up as NOT AVAILABLE. Then select the name of the table or
field that you want and then delete it from the right side panel.

That seems to work for me.

Happens all the time.

Hope that helps.

Thanx. The only button in Lasso I saw was "Delete Settings", I tried
it and it seemed to work.

It is normal behavior.  When a host, database, table, etc. goes missing Lasso holds onto its settings so that it does not need to be reconfigured when it becomes available again.  This is essential so that a misconfigured host or bad network connection doesn't result in all your settings being lost.  But, it also makes it difficult to know when a host, database, or table is really gone.

As you've discovered, "Delete Settings" can be used to delete the settings for any element that is no longer available.
