A link to an ics file ..

Michael Benedict
Hello,

We send confirmations from our server.
We sometimes include Links to .ics files.

Which has always been quite straight forward.

But we switched servers recently and this link no longer works.

Here is the actual link, to the new server:
https://iregevents.com/Samsung/USCC/docs/Jackson_Wednesday_October_14_11AM.i
cs

Here is the code - simple href:
<a href="https://[server_name][Response_Path]../docs/[local:'filename']"
target="_blank">Click Here</a>

When I click the link in Outlook (which looks perfect), nothing happens. No
Error no nothing.
Before if I clicked the link, my Outlook would pop open and you could "save"
to your calendar.
Now Nothing happens.

Old Server Win 2003, IIS 6
New Server Win 2008, IIS 7

Appreciate any suggestions.

Many thanks,
Michael

That link is giving me a 404, but not an official 404 error page.  I think there are 2 issues here:

1) your link is not actually correct
2) your server is not configured to send a 404 error page with some form of error message. Instead it's just a zero length document and a 404 status.

I'd get the server to send error pages first, then move on to why your link is not actually correct.
